  The GCC General Secretariat held the Seminar "Small and Medium Enterprises Post Covid-19"

The GCC General Secretariat held, on 22 July 2020, the seminar entitled "Small and Medium Enterprises Post Covid -19". With the participation of HE Dr. Tarifa Al-Zaabi, Deputy Director General - International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA), HE Professor Sonia Janahi, a business pioneer and member of the Board of Directors - Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HE Mr. Mohammed Al Ghassani, Director of the Support and Enterprise Development Department of the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Riyada), and HE Sheikha Fawz Al-Sabah is the founder and director of Gulfs Media and Crowd Creative House, and was moderated by HE Mohammed Al-Tawash, Chairman of the Board of Directors- Corbet Hub in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The seminar discussed several patterns, including evaluating employees and non-performing assets, building parallel strategies and other patterns. It also came out with results and recommendations, the most important of which was the unification of legislation between member states, building a common GCC system for small and medium-sized companies, as well as building a unified GCC- knowledge economy based on institutional agility.
This seminar is a continuation of the seminars organized by the General Secretariat on economic policies and measures taken in the GCC states to mitigate the effects of the Corona pandemic.
