He said that the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the GCC Secretariat represents an important step in the Iraq-GCC joint cooperation journey.For his part, Dr. Al-Zayani expressed his happiness to visit the Republic of Iraq, praising the joint efforts and sincere desire to develop the brotherly relations and cooperation between the GCC and the Republic of Iraq in various fields. The Secretary-General stressed that the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the GCC Secretariat is an important step to consolidate the joint cooperation between both sides through strategic dialogue in political, economic, social and development fields.During the meeting they discussed the brotherly relations between the GCC and the Republic of Iraq, as well as means of developing these relations in various fields. In addition, they reviewed the latest developments on the regional and international levels, as well as issues of common interest.
