The GCC Committee to study the standardization of procedures for classification and registration of medical specialties held the 3rb meeting on Thursday, 18 April 2019, at the GCC headquarters, in Riyadh.

During the meeting they discussed the requirements for registration and classification of medical specialties in each GCC country, the work of unifying the procedures for classification and registration of health specialties, and the development of a joint vision for health training and education.

The GCC Committee also stressed the importance of exchanging training courses, conferences and workshops organized by the GCC Ministries of Health in the field of registration and classification.
