The Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the 12th periodic meeting of their Excellencies the GCC President of Presidents of Legislative Councils (the Shura Councils, Council of Representatives, the Federal National Council, and the National Assembly), on Thursday, 28 March 2019, in Jeddah; preceded by the 11th meeting of the GCC Committee of Parliamentary and foreign Relations Coordination on Tuesday, 26 March 2019.
The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani will participate in the meeting.
Their Excellencies, Presidents of Legislative Councils, will review at the beginning of their meeting the annual report of HE chairman of the 11th Periodic Meeting, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait, as well as, the GCC Committee of Parliamentary and foreign Relations Coordination recommendations of their 11th meeting, planned to be held on Tuesday, 26 March 2019, regarding; the work of the GCC Parliamentary Committee on Enhancing Relations with the European Parliament, the results of the regional seminar "Job Placement and Investment in Human Resources in the GCC States", and the proposal of forming a committee for cooperation with Latin American Parliaments and to take the necessary action.
