The GCC Committee of National Computer Emergency Response Centers held the 17th meeting during the period from 9-8 December 2019, at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh.
During the meeting, they discussed issues related to cybersecurity and the latest practices in this field, as they drafted the implementation plan for the Safety and Cyber Security Strategy and reviewed the results of a number of experiments carried out by member states to develop an E-system that contribute to raising readiness and protecting from cyber threats. They also discussed the Member States proposals on strengthening the information security framework in the GCC States.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the GCC States, including directors and officials of the National Computer Emergency Response Centers and the GCC Secretariat.
