On Wednesday, 10th October 2018, the coordination meeting was held between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information and the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council, And the participating Kuwaiti government entities, that will  organize "the GCC Days" in Kuwait, November 2018.

The Assistant Undersecretary for External Information at the Ministry of Information in Kuwait, Faisal Al-Muttalgam, chaired the meeting, which reviewed the schedule of all events that will be held throughout the GCC days and the preparations of the various teams concerned with the organization by the governmental entities participating both in Kuwait and from the GCC Secretariat.

Mr. Al-Muttalgam stressed Kuwait's readiness to provide all the facilities for the success of the GCC days, and their willingness to cover the event on television, radio and social media. He noted that the Ministry will put all efforts to succeed in promoting this important event.

HE Hamad bin Rashid Al Marri, GCC Assistant Secretary for Legislative and Legal Affairs, and the head of the GCC delegation, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the State of Kuwait for its readiness and well organized facilities provided to establish and enrich the event, under The wise directives of their Majesties and Highness the leaders of the GCC States.

Mr. Al-Marri stressed that these days are aimed at strengthening the Gulf cohesion and unity of common destiny. It will also contribute to the development of economic and trade relations, strengthen cultural relations and encourage inter-tourism and strengthen the existing partnership between the GCC countries at all official and public levels.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Information and concerned government entities in the State of Kuwait. Also, attended from the GCC, Mr. Khaled Al-Shibayan, the Director-General for the General Directorate of Coordination and Follow-up, and Mr. Faisal Al-Shaikh, the Director-General for General Directorate of Media and Strategic Communications.
