Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and His Highness Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), participated in the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow 2025.
The event launched at Dubai World Central under the theme "The Future Starts Here,", featuring several decision-makers and specialised companies in the aviation sector from various countries around the world.
During his participation, His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi stated that the distinguished preparation and organisation by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in hosting this global exhibition reflects the approach it has adopted in developing the aviation sector and elevating its competitiveness at the international level.
"The event highlights UAE's ability to provide an advanced environment that attracts the latest future technologies reached by international and regional companies in this field, which is demonstrated by the broad international participation and the significant presence of global companies," His Excellency stated.
His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi also praised the innovative platforms at the exhibition, which showcased new technologies in modern aviation systems, environmentally efficient aircraft, artificial intelligence solutions in navigation and air traffic management, in addition to advanced displays of unmanned aircraft and sophisticated defense applications.
Moreover, His Excellency the GCC Secretary General expressed his appreciation for the national Emirati efforts that contributed to presenting a renewed edition of the Dubai Airshow, noting that this exhibition is an important tributary for the GCC countries.
"The Dubai Airshow provides opportunities to strengthen international partnerships, keep pace with the rapid developments in the aviation industry. It also embodies an ambitious vision that supports the aspirations of the GCC countries towards a more modern and innovative future," His Excellency concluded.
