His Highness Shaikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, received His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), on Tuesday (August 18, 2026) at Bayan Palace in the State of Kuwait.
During the meeting, a number of topics related to joint GCC action were discussed, along with the efforts aimed at strengthening the GCC’s journey and achieving further integration and coordination among its states, in implementation of the directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the Leaders of the GCC states.
HE the Secretary General also expressed his appreciation to HH the Crown Prince for the generous support and continued attention that the GCC’s journey receives from the State of Kuwait, underscoring that this support serves as a strong incentive to continue cementing joint GCC action, in a manner that brings goodness and prosperity to the peoples of the GCC states.
