His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to His Highness Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, to the honourable Al Thani Family, and to the government and people of the State of Qatar, on the passing of His Highness the Father Amir Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
"His Highness the Father Amir was a leader who contributed with dedication and wisdom to the renaissance of the State of Qatar and the comprehensive development it witnessed across various fields. His Highness also played a prominent role in supporting the journey of joint Gulf action and bolstering the bonds of brotherhood, cohesion, and integration among GCC states, driven by his firm belief in the significance of Gulf unity and consolidating the pillars of security, stability, and prosperity across GCC countries," His Excellency stated.
His Excellency prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the His Highness the Father Amir, grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and grant His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar, the honourable Al Thani Family, and the Qatari people patience, peace, and solace.
