His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), condemned in the strongest possible terms the egregious Iranian attacks that targeted the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the State of Kuwait.
His Excellency pointed out that Iran’s treacherous approach systematically seeks to destabilise the region and undermine regional security, constituting a flagrant violation of the principles of international law, the United Nations (UN) Charter, and the principles of good neighbourliness.
His Excellency underlined the full support of the GCC member states for the UAE and the State of Kuwait in all measures they undertake to maintain their security and stability, as well as the safety of their citizens and residents.
