His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed the Council’s strongest condemnation and denunciation of the brutal targeting of fuel storage tanks at the Port of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman.
His Excellency emphasised the GCC’s full solidarity with the Sultanate of Oman in all measures it takes to protect its security, stability, and territorial integrity. He reiterated the firm stance of the Council states in rejecting and condemning all acts of aggression that undermine the security of GCC countries or target their vital facilities and the safety of their citizens and residents on their territories.
