His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King and Crown Prince, received His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Their Excellencies and Highnesses, members of the Advisory Board of the Supreme Council of the GCC, on Monday (February 9, 2026) at Al Qudaibiya Palace in Manama.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the first meeting of the 29th session of the Advisory Board, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of its presidency of the 46th session of the GCC (Bahrain Summit).
During the meeting, HE the Secretary General and Their Excellencies, members of the Advisory Board, listened to the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King and Crown Prince, aimed at strengthening the work of the Advisory Board and its role in the joint Gulf action, in order to achieve the desired common goals.
During the meeting, HE the Secretary General expressed his appreciation and thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy of His Majesty the King and Crown Prince, for their continuous and unlimited support for the blessed journey of the Council and for the work of the General Secretariat of the GCC, which has had a great impact on strengthening the bonds and integration between the Council countries.
