His Highness the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Shaikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, received His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), in the presence of His Excellency Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Chief of the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince, today, Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Bayan Palace in the State of Kuwait.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on a number of topics related to joint Gulf action. The pivotal role played by the State of Kuwait, in its capacity as the chair of the current session of the Cooperation Council, in supporting the Council's march and enhancing coordination and integration among the member states was also affirmed.
His Excellency also expressed his great pride in meeting His Highness the Crown Prince and listening to his wise visions and sound guidance, which reflect his profound commitment to consolidating the foundations of unity and strengthening the path of integration among the GCC countries.
His Excellency the GCC Secretary General expressed his deep appreciation for the continuous support and great attention provided by the State of Kuwait to the journey of the Cooperation Council, stressing that this gracious support contributes to strengthening the frameworks of cooperation and integration in order to serve the interests of the Council's states and the aspirations of their peoples.
