His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with a number of Their Excellencies the Assistant Secretaries General and officials responsible for preparing for the 165th session of the Ministerial Council of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the GCC states, today, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh.
At the beginning of the event, His Excellency the GCC Secretary General affirmed that today's meeting is for the preparation and coordination of the items that will be included on the agenda for the 165th session of the Ministerial Council, which will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025.
"These arrangements come as part of the GCC General Secretariat's commitment to carry out its mandated tasks to the fullest extent through early preparation and follow-up for all meetings at all levels with relevant officials in the member states, in order to enhance and develop joint Gulf action in all fields, achieving the aspirations and hopes of GCC citizens for greater interdependence and integration," His Excellency underscored.
