His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his condemnation and denunciation in the strongest possible terms regarding the terrorist bombing that took place in a mosque in the city of Homs, in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, resulting in a number of casualties and injuries.
His Excellency emphasised the GCC’s full solidarity with the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, reaffirming the Cooperation Council's rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in Syria and the world at large.
His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi extended his deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the government and people of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, as well as to the families of the victims, wishing a swift recovery to all those injured.
