​​His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stated that the GCC pavilion accompanying the 46th Gulf Summit, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, aims to inform citizens and residents of the Kingdom about the GCC's achievements made during the blessed journey of over four decades.


"This period has witnessed significant growth, prosperity and development in joint Gulf action across all levels, thanks to the directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the founding leaders of the GCC states and the current leaders," His Excellency stated.

These remarks were made during the inauguration ceremony of the GCC pavilion accompanying the 46th GCC Summit, held at the Bahrain National Museum on Thursday (November 13, 2025). The event was held under the patronage and presence of His Excellency Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, Ambassadors of GCC countries, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

HE the Secretary General extended his highest thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Kingdom of Bahrain, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for their great and unlimited support for the blessed journey of the GCC.

He also extended his sincere thanks to His Excellency Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, for his significant support in the preparation and setup of the pavilion, and to the management of the Bahrain National Museum for their welcome and for hosting the pavilion at the museum.

Moreover, His Excellency invited all citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain to visit the pavilion to learn about these accomplishments.

"The pavilion will receive visitors starting today, for a full month, seven days a week. It showcases the pre-founding phase, the establishment of the Council in 1981, joint projects and joint Gulf action in various fields, leading up to future projects. The pavilion presents, across nine exhibition areas, more than 40 main topics and 120 sub-topics in the fields of joint Gulf action," His Excellency stated.

In conclusion, HE the Secretary General thanked the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the staff of the Bahrain National Museum for their great endeavours and for providing all facilities and support to the GCC General Secretariat team.​
