His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with His Excellency Mr Ruben Brekelmans, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, today, Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi's participation in the 21st session of the Manama Dialogue.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of Gulf-Dutch relations and ways to enhance them. They also discussed the strategic partnership between the GCC and the European Union (EU) in order to serve the common interests of the peoples of both sides.
Views were also exchanged on the latest developments regionally and internationally.
