In the presence of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the meeting of the 156th session of the Ministerial Council of the Cooperation Council will begin on Sunday (June 11, 2023) at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the GCC in Riyadh. 


The meeting is chaired by His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Chairman of the current session of the Ministerial Council, and the participation of His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC .

On this occasion, HE the Secretary General affirmed that the Ministerial Council will discuss a number of reports regarding the follow-up to the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council issued by the 43rd summit in Riyadh, as well as notes and reports submitted by the ministerial and technical committees and the General Secretariat in relation to dialogues and strategic relations between the GCC countries, and countries and global blocs, in addition to reviewing the latest regional and international developments in the region.
