His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed condemnation and denuciation of the vandalism attack on the house of the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the city of Khartoum, urging the conflicting parties to abide by the relevant international agreements and treaties to respect the sanctity of diplomatic headquarters and missions and to protect their citizens.
Moreover, His Excellency reiterated the call for the warring sides to accelerate Jeddah talks, in order to reach a comprehensive political announcement that ensures security, stability and prosperity for Sudan and its brotherly people.
