His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Her Excellency Dr Laila Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development of the Sultanate of Oman, discussed issues related to women and the efforts made by the Ministry of Social Development in the field of caring for women, and the various sectors of social work.
This came during HE the Secretary General’s meeting with HE the Minister of Social Development of the Sultanate of Oman, on Tuesday (May 16, 2023) in the Omani capital Muscat.
During the meeting, His Excellency praised the role of Omani women and their great accomplishments in participating in achieving prosperity and development in the Sultanate, and their ability to work efficiently with high professionalism.
The meeting also witnessed an exchange of views on the key common Gulf issues related to women and social development.
