HE Dr Nayef Falah M. Al Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) expressed his sincere condolences to the King, Government and people of Jordan for the victims of the Aqaba port who lost their lives as a result of the toxic gas leak incident, which occurred today, Monday, June 27, 2022, and caused a number of deaths and injuries.
Furthermore, His Excellency affirmed the support of the GCC to the Government and the brotherly Jordanian people in these difficult moments, extending condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and praying to Allah the Almighty to bless them with His mercy and forgiveness, to grant the injured a speedy recovery, and to protect Jordan and its people from all evil under the wise leadership of HM King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, the King of Jordan.
