​Under the generous patronage of HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar,  HE Dr Nayef Falah M. Al Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) participated today, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in Qatar Economic Forum, which is being held in the Qatari capital, Doha. The event will take place between June 20-22, 2022 and is organised in cooperation with Bloomberg, and with the participation of presidents of several countries and more than 500 business leaders around the world.


On this occasion,  HE the Secretary-General stressed that the forum is a unique opportunity to discuss ways to achieve equality in the global economic recovery, explaining that the future of the global economy is one of the priorities of governments in all countries of the world, including the private sector and companies, in light of the transformations that the financial and technological sector is witnessing. 

His Excellency highlighted the significance of the interest in energy security, praising the outcomes of the forum, which seeks to encourage economic cooperation among the countries of the world.
