As part of preparations for the agenda of the 168th Ministerial Council meeting of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the GCC states, His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held an internal preparatory meeting today, Thursday (6 August 2026), with the participation of senior officials at the General Secretariat headquarters.
During the meeting, they reviewed all topics to be included on the Ministerial Council's agenda regarding the journey of joint Gulf action, alongside several files pertaining to regional and international issues. Additionally, they followed up on progress in executing joint Gulf initiatives and projects aimed at fostering development and prosperity while bolstering the security and stability of the GCC states and their peoples.
