His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received Her Excellency Ms Merete Juhl, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today, Sunday (30 August 2026), at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency the GCC Secretary General congratulated Her Excellency Ms Merete Juhl on her appointment as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing her every success in the performance of her duties.
During the meeting, both sides discussed a number of topics of mutual concern, most notably reviewing ways to bolster cooperative relations between the GCC and Denmark. They also addressed updates regarding the upcoming GCC-EU Summit, in addition to exchanging views on the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
