General Secretariat – Riyadh

​His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received a number of staff members of the General Secretariat who obtained master's degrees in various disciplines following the completion of their studies under a scholarship programme in the People's Republic of China, today, Monday (3 August 2026), at the General Secretariat's headquarters in Riyadh.

At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi congratulated the staff members on receiving their master's degrees, praising their academic efforts that yielded this accomplishment and wishing them continued success in their professional careers.

During the meeting, His Excellency underscored the General Secretariat's commitment to developing and qualifying its workforce. He expressed confidence that the knowledge and academic expertise acquired by the graduates would have a profound impact on supporting the work of the GCC General Secretariat, contributing to the development of joint programmes and initiatives, and advancing the journey of joint Gulf action.​
