His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with senior officials at the General Secretariat and members of the General Secretariat committee dedicated to following up on the outcomes of the 19th Consultative Meeting of the Supreme Council of Their Majesties and Highnesses, Leaders of the GCC States, today, Tuesday (29 July 2026), at the General Secretariat's headquarters in Riyadh.
During the meeting, they reviewed the outcomes of Gulf ministerial meetings and workshops held in the preceding period with member states, in addition to discussing follow-up mechanisms with relevant stakeholders in member states and the General Secretariat.
His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi underscored the necessity of continuing joint work to implement these noble outcomes, recognising them as a fundamental pillar for bolstering Gulf economic integration, boosting the efficiency of GCC economies, and cementing their capacity to deal with developments and challenges, thereby fulfilling the aspirations of their peoples toward development and prosperity.
