His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the continued terrorist attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Iran-aligned militias in Iraq, emphasising that these hostile acts represent a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty, and a direct threat to its security and stability, as well as to regional peace and security.
His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi underscored that the GCC states stand as one alongside the Kingdom, fully supporting all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
"The continuation of these terrorist assaults constitutes a direct threat to regional peace and security, undermining international efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and consolidating security and stability," His Excellency concluded.
