His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, received His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, on Tuesday (June 9, 2026) in the Qatari capital, Doha.
During the meeting, a number of topics related to joint GCC action and efforts to strengthen it were discussed. HE the Secretary General expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs for the support and assistance provided by the State of Qatar to the work of the GCC General Secretariat.
The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and the efforts being made to enhance security and stability.
