His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received today, Sunday (June 14, 2026), at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh, Her Excellency Ms Petra Menander, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the end of her tenure.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency the Secretary General expressed his thanks and appreciation to Her Excellency the Ambassador for her efforts in strengthening Gulf-European and Gulf-Swedish relations.
The meeting also deliberated on relations between the GCC and Sweden and ways to develop and enhance them to serve common interests, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments as well as the efforts exerted in this regard.
