His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), condemned in the strongest terms the brutal Iranian attack on a camp belonging to the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, which resulted in the injury of ten of its personnel.
HE the Secretary General affirmed that this treacherous Iranian attack is clear evidence of its hostile intent toward the State of Kuwait and the GCC countries, and constitutes a grave violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait and a blatant assault on military facilities belonging to the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, and represents a serious escalation affecting the security and stability of the region.
His Excellency also expressed the GCC’s full solidarity with the State of Kuwait and its support for all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability.
HE the Secretary General wished the injured a speedy recovery, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect Kuwait and its people from all harm.
