His Excellency Shaikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, received His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), today, Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Kuwait City.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi extended his congratulations to His Excellency Shaikh Jarrah on the occasion of the Amiri decree appointing him as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, wishing him continued success in the fulfillment of his duties.
The meeting also involved the discussion of several topics pertaining to the progress of joint Gulf action and the ongoing efforts to enhance integration among Member States.
These discussions aimed at realising the aspirations of the peoples of the GCC and bolstering the Council’s regional and international standing.
