His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his profound sorrow and sympathy following the collision of two trains south of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.
Furthermore, His Excellency the Secretary General conveyed his sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt—its leadership, government, and people—and to the families and relatives of the victims in this tragic affliction. His Excellency prayed to Allah the Almighty to encompass the deceased with His vast mercy and forgiveness, to grant their families patience and solace, to bless the injured with a speedy recovery, and to protect the Arab Republic of Egypt and its brotherly people from all harm and misfortune.
