His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met today, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, with His Excellency Mr Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq.
The meeting took place in Davos, Switzerland, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern. They further deliberated on the latest developments and discussed ongoing efforts aimed at fostering peace and stability across the region.
