His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received His Excellency Eng. Jassim Alshirawi, Secretary General of the International Energy Forum (IEF), today, Monday, August 4, 2025, at the General Secretariat's headquarters in Riyadh.
During the meeting, they reviewed the activities and events organised by the Forum and discussed ways to elevate cooperation and coordination between the GCC and the IEF in the energy sectors in order to serve their mutual interests.
His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi commended the efforts and the level of work undertaken by the Forum, and its achievement of goals related to energy security and sustainability.
