His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of Iran's treacherous attacks using a number of drones against the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Excellency pointed out that the Iranian regime's continuous targeting of civilian facilities and critical infrastructure—amid ongoing international and regional efforts to consolidate peace and security and resolve the crisis—underlines its desire to undermine initiatives aimed at containing the crisis and obstruct all endeavors directed towards achieving security and stability in the region.
Furthermore, His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi underscored the GCC's full support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance its security, safeguard its sovereignty, and protect its territorial integrity.
