Page ContentOn behalf of the staff of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Abudaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC, expressed deep sadness and sorrow for the passing of His Excellency Mr Saud bin Nasser Al Khusaibi, the former chairman of the Gulf Standardisation Organisation, and his daughter following a tragic accident.His Excellency the GCC Secretary General extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the family of His Excellency the late Saud Al Khusaibi and his deceased daughter.His Excellency stated that the deceased was a role model of dedication and hard work as during his tenure as chairman of the Gulf Standardisation Organisation, he contributed to the development and enhancement of cooperation among the GCC member states in the field of standardisation, leaving a significant impact in his professional journey.His Excellency prayed to Allah, the Almighty, to grant the deceased and his daughter His vast mercy and to place them in His spacious heavens, and to inspire their family and loved ones with patience and solace.
