  HE the GCCSG: The Extraordinary 45th Ministerial Council Meeting will be held Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 2, in Doha, to Discuss the Latest Developments in the Regional Situation

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), announced that the extraordinary 45th Ministerial Council meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in the Qatari capital, Doha. 


The meeting will be chaired by His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State Qatar, who is the current president of the Ministerial Council. It will also be attended by Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers of Foreign Affairs from GCC member states.

Commenting on the meeting, His Excellency the GCC Secretary General noted that the Ministerial Council will discuss the latest developments in regional and international situations affecting the area.

He emphasised that the GCC countries are closely monitoring the serious developments in the region and are continuously striving to make efforts to de-escalate tensions, aiming to achieve and enhance security and stability in the area.
