Page ContentHis Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with His Excellency Nigel Huddleston, British Minister of State for International Trade, today, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in the city of Salalah, Sultanate of Oman.During the meeting, the latest developments in the Free Trade Agreement negotiations between the GCC countries and the United Kingdom were discussed and reviewed, and the two sides expressed their full belief in the importance of wrapping it up, as it will contribute significantly to economic growth and enhance trade in goods and services, new fields and advanced technologies in a way that serves the common interests of both sides. The officials also exchanged views on several economic topics.
