Page ContentHis Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received His Excellency Mr Worawoot Pongprapapant, Director General, Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, on Saturday (November 18, 2023), on the sidelines of His Excellency’s participation in 19th nineteenth edition of the Manama Dialogue Conference.During the meeting, ways of strengthening relations between the GCC and the Kingdom of Thailand were discussed, for the benefit of both sides, and in accordance with common interests, especially with regard to economic and political cooperation.HE the Secretary General stressed that the GCC countries always seek to build relations with countries and blocs, out of their full belief that this constructive cooperation will benefit all parties, achieve sustainable development, and contribute significantly to the process of stability and security.
