Page ContentHis Excellency Mr. Jassim Mohammed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), discussed with Her Excellency Ms Anna Grillo, Director of Africa and the Middle East at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs the catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip and the conditions resulting from the ongoing serious Israeli violations. They also shared views on ways to resolve this crisis through an immediate cease fire by all parties and the swift and direct entry of relief and humanitarian assistance to the people of the Strip.This took place during His Excellency's reception of Her Excellency Ms Anna Gueguen in the Bahraini capital, Manama, on Saturday, November 18, 2023. The meeting took place on the sidelines of his participation in the 19th edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue Conference.During the meeting, they also reviewed the relations between the GCC and the Republic of France, and discussed ways to develop and enhance them to create new opportunities for constructive cooperation between the two sides. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments.
