  The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council affirms the Reliable Role of the Yemen New Government in unifying the Yemeni National Ranks

HE the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf emphasized the reliant role of the new government of political competencies in Yemen, led by Maeen Abdul Malik, in unifying the Yemeni national ranks, to complete the restoration of the state and end the Iranian-backed Houthi coup. Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf, in a phone call with the Yemeni Prime Minister-designate, appreciated the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in finding a mechanism to accelerate and activate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.
He wished Prime Minister-designate all success in the next stage, stressing at the same time the GCC's keenness to restore security and stability in Yemen and its strong return as an active member in its Gulf and Arab surroundings. He also affirmed the GCC support for Yemen as a people and leadership in accordance with the Gulf initiative, the outcomes of the national dialogue conference (NDC) and the Security Council Resolution 2216.
