  The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council congratulates the United Arab Emirates on the success in launching the First Peaceful Nuclear Reactor in the Arab world

HE the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, extended his congratulations to HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and to the people of the United Arab Emirates, on the success in launching the First Peaceful Nuclear Reactor in the Arab world, at Barakah plants in Abu Dhabi.  
His Excellency said that the United Arab Emirates has long sought to build human capabilities and enormous scientific, research, technical and administrative cadres, through which, over the years, it has managed to achieve tremendous accomplishments in several fields, and here it announces the success of operating the first peaceful nuclear energy reactor in the Arab world. At the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in Abu Dhabi.
His Excellency also praised the high achievement that confirms the approach and strategy of the United Arab Emirates in peaceful energy by relying on national expertise and cadres in this scientific achievement, which is considered a source of pride for the youth of the GCC  States and for the Arab and Islamic nations, calling on the Almighty to bless the United Arab Emirates with more progress and prosperity.
