  The 20th Meeting of the GCC Committee of Capital Markets Authorities

The GCC Committee of Capital Markets Authorities, emanating from the GCC Ministerial Committee for Capital Markets, held via visual communication the 20th meeting on Monday, 29 June 2020.
The meeting's agenda included a number of issues, most notably; the executive work plan to implement the GCC inter-licensing of investment "Passporting" and the mechanism and timetable for its implementation, and the road map for implementing the most important initiatives to achieve integration between the GCC Capital Markets. The meeting also discussed the experience of each of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and The Stock Exchange "Tadawul" in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in linking and clearing between the two markets.
The Committee also discussed the Securities and Commodities Authority in the United Arab Emirates paper on financial inclusion, in addition to the Capital Markets Authority in the State of Kuwait paper regarding the procedures for developing a I Know Your Customer form “KYC” and the unified database for the GCC citizens, and took in relation the necessary decisions. They also reviewed and exchanged their views on the latest developments in the GCC Capital markets.
