  The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council commends the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Invitation to organize "the 2020 Donors Conference for Yemen"

HE Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announcement to organize the 2020 Donors Conference for Yemen. Scheduled to be held virtually on Tuesday, 10 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 2 June 2020. Stressing the leading role of the Kingdom to support Yemen and lift the human suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people.
His Excellency pointed out that this initiative to hold the conference, in partnership with the United Nations, comes as an extension of the generous humanitarian and development contributions provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the first donor country to Yemen, praising the support and humanitarian and development aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
HE the Secretary General also praised the generous assistance provided by all the GCC states in all fields to Yemen and its brotherly people. Expressing his aspiration for the concerted efforts of the international donors to support this initiative and contribute effectively to the 2020 Donors Conference for Yemen and its noble people so it can restore its security and stability.
