  The (28) Meeting of the Gulf Market Committee discusses: an "E- platform" to Interact with the GCC Citizens and Highlight the Gains of the GCC Citizenship

The Gulf Market Committee held the 28th meeting on Monday, 10 February 2020, at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh; with the participation of representatives of the GCC states, the General Secretariat, and the Federation of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Chambers.
The committee discussed several issues, including: a proposal to develop the functions of the Gulf Common Market Committee and find appropriate implementation mechanisms for these tasks, and to establish an internal regulation organizing the work of the committee and its membership, as well as the common Gulf market issues presented to the relevant committees. They also reviewed and discussed what has been done regarding the coordination to develop the submitted concept (E- platform) regarding the mechanism for handling inquiries, observations, complaints and suggestions related to the Gulf common market with regards to the steps and implementation mechanism. The committee also read about what has been done regarding coordination and media cooperation between the General Secretariat and the GCC Joint Program Production Institution to highlight the gains of GCC citizenship, and discussed a proposal to include permanent members (liaison officers) from the national statistical agencies in the GCC states and the GCC-STAT, and What is stated in the report of the Federation of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Chambers on the implementation of the Gulf common market.
