  The GCC Bureau of Technical Secretariat for Anti Injurious Practices in International Trade participates in a Hearing at Jordan National Production Protection Directorate

The GCC Bureau of Technical Secretariat for Anti Injurious Practices in International Trade participated in the hearing held by the Directorate of National Production Protection of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Monday, 6 January 2020, whereas, The GCC Bureau represented the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain in a prevention case opened by the Jordanian investigation authority on a potato chips product. This was based on an authorization from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism in the Kingdom of Bahrain to the GCC Bureau to defend the interests of the Bahraini industry producing potato chips subject to the investigation of the Jordanian investigation authority.
The GCC Bureau exercises its jurisdiction in accordance with the GCC unified anti-dumping law, its compensatory and preventive measures and executive regulations, by defending the interests of the Kingdom of Bahrain and providing technical and legal defenses that require excluding the Kingdom of Bahrain's exports from investigation and not imposing any measures on them.
