  The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council honors a Number of Retiring Employees

The Secretary General of the Cooperation Council, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani honored on Tuesday, 21 January 2020, at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh, a number of retiring employees, after many years spent working in the General Secretariat.
The Secretary General expressed his thanks and appreciation for the successful efforts made by the retired members with sincerity and dedication in service of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council. He praised the work they had done that had a great impact in enhancing the GCC joint work over the past years, and the development of the performance and services carried out by the General Secretariat.
The Secretary-General commended the great cooperation he had received from the retired employees and their keenness to transfer their long experience and rich knowledge to the new employees in a desire to continue the GCC performance at the same level of competence and excellence, expressing his wishes for them to be successful in their future lives.
On their part, the retired employees expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Secretary-General for this kind gesture, stressing that the years of work they spent in the General Secretariat were years filled with knowledge important practical experiences and expressing their wishes that the General Secretariat will continue with the competencies working in it, its active role in serving the process of the GCC joint work.
They also expressed their appreciation for the sincere efforts made by the Secretary-General throughout the period of his assumption of this enormous responsibility, wishing His Excellency the continuing success after his term as Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and his nomination to take over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the great development and distinction achieved by the General Secretariat during his reign, and the many accomplishments achieved in the field of GCC cooperation at various levels.
