  The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council visits the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani visited on Thursday, 29 August 2019 the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board headquarters in Jakarta, during his visit to the Republic of Indonesia.

At the beginning, Mr. Johnny Sakti Meier, Executive Director of the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board, welcomed the Secretary General and his accompanying delegation, praising the friendly relations and cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Republic of Indonesia, and both sides keenness and interest to enhance the joint cooperation in the economic, trade and investment fields. He also gave a presentation on the Board's efforts to promote the investment opportunities available in Indonesia to local and foreign investors, and the facilities provided by the competent authorities of the Indonesian government to support and attract foreign investment to take advantage of the economic, commercial and investment potential available in Indonesia in various fields.
The meeting was attended by, Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Owaishek, the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Negotiations, senior Executives of the Board, and the Secretary General accompanying delegation.
