  The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council visits the SMEs and Cooperatives Fair in Jakarta

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani visited on Wednesday, 28 August 2019 the SMEs and Cooperatives Fair in Jakarta, during his visit to the Republic of Indonesia.
The Secretary General toured the Fair, and was briefed on the exhibits that represent examples produced by small and medium-sized companies and cooperatives in Indonesia that reflects the ability, skill and creativity of the Indonesian people in the various provinces, taking advantage of the natural materials available in the Indonesian islands.
The Secretary General also heard from the officials of the Fair about the facilities and support provided by the competent authorities in the Indonesian government to the SMEs and cooperatives to help them produce and market their products at home and abroad.
At the end of the tour, the Secretary General expressed his admiration for what he saw, which reflect the abilities and skills of the Indonesian people. He also commended the Indonesian Government's attention and support to the SMEs and cooperatives enabling them to play their active role in the national economy.
The Secretary General was joined by, Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Owaishek, the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Negotiations and his accompanying delegation.
