  The GCCPOL attends the Meeting of the Middle East and North Africa Police Chiefs

The GCCPOL delegation led by, Col. Mubarak Said Al Khyeli, Director General of the GCCPOL attended the Meeting of the Middle East and North Africa Police Chiefs, organized by the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) during the period from 25-26 November 2019, in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco.

The meeting discussed many issues that concern the police and security side, the most important of which are the experiences of countries and their security strategies in combating terrorism, extremism and Cybercrime, as well as the INTERPOL's role in supporting investigations of fugitives and its active role in supporting member countries in combating organized and emerging crime.

The GCCPOL also participated with a paper on the implications of the joint coordination operations the GCCPOL organize, in addition to strengthening cooperation through police and security cooperation agreements with regional and international organizations.
